Never There: Follow the story of Ashlee Rowntree, her abusive mother, and her drug dealer father, who is murdered.  As a result of the murder, she is forced to live with her grandfather Gill Rowntree, who suffers with PTSD, and whom she has never met.  Against the odds and after some ups and downs, they begin to build a relationship between them.  Until Ashlee is cruelly torn away from him, forcing Gill to not only confront his demons but his past too.
