Back by some serious popular demand! Last years inaugural Drag Out The Love blew the roof off our old theatre. This years Drag Out The Love - Queen’s of the Crop will not disappoint. When the Fort Macleod Pride committee, comprised of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and allies, got together to discuss the future of Pride in Fort Macleod, the art of Drag quickly became a top priority. The Drag Community has been at the forefront of the global queer movement, and the performers are not only entertaining but also educating the public, spreading awareness, and healing the 2SLGBTQ+ community through the worst of times. Drag Out The Love is about bringing back the art of Drag to Fort Macleod, spreading awareness, and creating a safe space for the 2SLGBT+ community and allies to connect. So once again, the Empress Theatre is proud to host Drag Out The Love - Queen’s of the Crop, an amazing show presented by the House of Tulip and Fort Macleod Pride.
