WHAT IS CAMP FOR KIDS?

At the Empress drama day camps for 7-11 year olds, it is more than just a performance camp – it is a safe, inspiring space where your child can truly shine.  Whether your child is wildly outgoing or wonderfully shy, our camps are designed to meet them right where they’re at and help them grow in confidence, creativity and self-expression.

When your child joins our summer camps, they step into a community that celebrates individuality and encourages bold creative risks – all with safe, nurturing support.  Our camps offer a unique mix of heart and high-quality training.  That is what sets us apart.

We don’t just teach what to do – we teach how to feel, imagine, express and connect.  Our camp leaders bring cutting-edge, age-appropriate acting techniques into every class, while fostering personal growth, emotional intelligence and resilience.

Each camp is packed with laughter, imagination and empowering challenges.  No two classes are the same, because no two children are the same.  Our camps adapt to the needs of each group, creating a vibrant and inclusive space where every child is seen, heard and celebrated.

  • Watch your child light up with newfound confidence

  • See them take creative risks in a space where it’s safe to stumble and soar

  • Be amazed at the skills they’ll build – on stage and in life

Camp is...

The Empress Drama camp is where the real magic happens. Well, okay, we will be sprinkling magic in this year’s fall classes too, but there's something truly special about camp. It's five days completely immersed in our boundless creativity, where everyone discovers they can be more than they ever imagined.

A SAFE SPACE

Your teen will be joining their fellow creatives in an agreement to totally support each other, to create safe places to take creative risks.

We hear from some families that this is the first time that they have experienced anything this supportive. Having a chance to learn and practice in this way, is why people keep coming back year after year.
