When the Fort Macleod Pride committee, comprised of 2SLGBTQ+ folks and allies from town, got together to discuss the future of Pride in Fort Macleod, the art of Drag quickly became a top priority. The Drag Community has been at the forefront of the global queer movement, and the performers were not only entertaining but also educating the public, spreading awareness, and healing the 2SLGBTQ+ community through the worst of times. Drag out the Love is about introducing the art of Drag to Fort Macleod, spreading awareness, and creating a safe space for the 2SLGBT+ community and our allies to connect. Masks will be provided to all audience members at the door, and we are strongly encouraging social distancing during the show.
